The Billabong Air and Style 2012 has again attracted the world’s best snowboarders to Innsbruck’s Bergisel Stadium. Peetu Piiroinen, Sebastien Toutant, Seppe Smits, Mark McMorris and Werner Stock lead an all star cast striving to make snowboarding history.

For the first time in the event’s history the TTR World Snowboard Tour Big Air Champion will be crowned at the event. Eric Willet (USA), Seppe Smits (BEL), Stale Sandbech (NOR) and last year’s Air & Style winner Mark McMorris (CAN) are the four riders to battle it out in the Bergisel cauldron.

Other favourites for the event include last year’s TTR Champion Peetu Piiroinen (FIN), Seb Toutant (CAN), Seppe Smits (BEL), Sage Kotsenburg (USA) and Roope Tonteri (FIN). Werner Stock will also lead the local charge as he will try to top his 3rd place from 2011. And Billabong’s Petja Piiroinen (FIN) will also compete for one of the four qualifying spots in the main competition and the chance to upstage the snowboarding world’s elite.

German rapper Sido and Berlin based rock superfreaks Beatsteaks will be rampside, amping both the superstars of the the sport and the 14,000 strong crowd in the knockout rounds and after the grand finale.
